Irma Gruenholz was born in Madrid, Spain. She studied graphic design and worked as an art director in an ad agency before embarking on a freelance career as an illustrator.

Plasticine is the main material in her work. Irma  creates hand-sculpted illustrations for books, magazines, advertisements, online marketing, etc. She also prepares 3D models in polymer clay for customer presentations, prototypes and custom props.
