I couldn’t wait to tell you about this.

Someone special contacted me some time ago. She wanted to know if I I liked the idea of turning my flower girls into notecards. Yes, I love the idea -I said. So we started working on the project. The special person’s name is Rina. She works for  TeNeues, a publishing company with branches in different countries. TeNeues makes top quality cards, calendars and books. The contract has been signed, the designers are doing their part now and soon the cards will be available to everyone. I can’t believe that my flower girls are going to  be traveling all over the world, they are so lucky!

The concept is:

20 notecards, 4 each of 5 images
20 envelopes
Sturdy, re-useable box, great for storage
The box measures 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches (14 x 19.1 x 3.8 cm)

Can you believe it? One day  I followed my son Diego in his garden explorations, he inspired me to make the flower characters, and now they have a life of their own. I’m celebrating right now with a glass or orange juice. Cheers! And one thing is for sure, as soon as I get a few of these boxes I will have a giveaway right on this blog because here is the place were Rina found them.

The cards came out beautiful! They’re available here.
