Did you know that people in churches used to send their used teabags and slivers of bar soap to missionaries in foreign lands? I didn’t either but I worked with a fellow who was the son of a missionary and he said they would get boxes of the stuff. I couldn’t believe it!

What did they do with the used teabags? The slivers of soap I can understand….boil them together to make a gel, but the teabags have me stumped!!!
I think the tea bags were sent so that another cup of tea could be made. Imagine a time where we thought something like that would be generous?
