Textile Sculptures by Yumi Okita.

I love these bugs so much. They come from an Etsy store called irohandbags. There isn’t any information available about the creator, but the creations speak by themselves. They tell me that the artist is a nature lover , detail oriented, good with textures, skilled at combining different material…and just talented. Dear mystery artist: Congratulations!

Some of the materials used are fabric, cotton, fake fur, fabric paint, embroidery thread and wire. You can visit the shop here.

UPDATE: Thanks to my detective friend Christina Conway, we now know the name of the artist: Yumi Okita. Thanks Chris and Congratulations Yumi Okita!

If truth, then I do not like insects. But butterflies made Utah Okita struck me with its originality and some unreal reality!
