Portrait of Hein Koh by Lindsay Dye
Primarily a sculptor, Hein Koh‘s work explores sexuality, fantasy, and feminism with a heavy surrealist streak. Koh describes her sculptures as “a balance between the beautiful and the grotesque.” Some of the materials used in her sculptures are acrylic cabochons, acrylic paint, cat litter, felt, fiberfill, glitter, metallic spandex, plastic drop cloths, sand, sequined fabric, string, vinyl, and wire.
