Elsita 🙂
I immediately want to start drawing, but I can’t chose which flower I like most.
Thank you for your wonderful project.

You’re so welcome, Caroline!

You have a beautiful garden, Elsa, and your photos are excellent. Thanks for the tour. Enjoy your weekend, too.
Thanks, Nancy! Our weekend is going to be exciting. Natalie is taking a test for a gifted program in visual arts. There will be 400 kids in the group! She has been getting ready for months. Wish her good luck! 🙂

So inspiring! The colors, the shapes! Love the little creatures on 3rd and 4th photo, no idea who or what they are! But my favorite is the green one with dried top below.
Yay, Anu! The one with the dry top is my favorite, because it looks like paper 🙂

So beautiful! I’m a gardener too… love the very intimate, close-up photos.
Thanks, Laura! Isn’t gardening some sort of meditation practice? Nothing is more relaxing than being in touch with nature in that way 🙂

Beautiful photos! Love all that color and texture. My very favorite place to go at the end of a long day or week is a local garden up the street from where I live. Nothing else puts my mind at ease like a walk there.
We are actually trying to start our own little garden in the backyard. We bought some herbs and sunflower seeds as well as a few other flowers. But, we have recently discovered that we have bunnies visiting us in the backyard daily (despite the fact that it is fenced in)…so we are waiting to plant until we can build some type of enclosure that would keep them from eating everything. They’re so cute, I almost don’t care if they eat them though! Well, almost. And I definitely don’t want to discourage them from visiting, just maybe not eat everything we plant. 🙂
Hope you have a great weekend, Elsita!
xo,
Mary

Hi Mary! You should make a deal with the bunnies: hey bunnies, you can only eat the plants in this area, this other area is untouchable, OK? If you do a good job I will feed you carrots on the weekend. I don’t think that they’re going to refuse such a fair deal 🙂

Beautiful succulents; beautiful garden; beautiful photography!
It is indeed a sight exciting and inspiring! Such richness of colors and shapes is many times hidden, waiting a careful look like yours to be revealed. I really like your way of revealing the world.
Oh, how fun to take a stroll through your blooming garden. I like that you took a photo of the wilting calla lilly! And the humble dandelion too! Thank you!
How timely these photos are Elsa…..we were at a movie screening this AM of “Epic”…beautiful visuals of so many creatures inspired by nature….all were computer animated with incredible detail…it made me want to come home and draw draw draw!! I think that you and your kids might love it as well!
Thank you for sharing the flowers from your garden–I kiss them!
Your blog posts constantly delight me. I always relish whatever it is you present. It is a brief welcome respite during a busy day to be able to visit with you on occasion. I thoroughly enjoyed the walk through your delightful garden, and your photos of the residents are exquisite. Thanks so much for sharing with us! Smiles. Linda
