When I first saw these pieces by Carine Neutjens, I thought that they were ceramics. What a surprise when I found out that they were actually made of glass! As Gallery Phase says: Carine Neutjens’ bowls remind one of stone, coral, lava and other natural elements. These are extremely vulnerable, fragile pieces which seem to have come straight from nature.”

Don’t you feel inspired to do something with glass one day? It seems such a wonderful medium to explore. Remember the beautiful work of Steffen Dam, the amazing glass sculptures of Christina Bothwell and also Wesley Fleming‘s glass bugs? I feel so inspired!
