Don’t you love these simple drawings by Natalie? She’s only 11 years old. I am always blown away by her unique characters. She loves to create them and then describe their personalities. Natalie wants to be a film maker when she grows up. She’s very interested in telling stories of real, but also imaginary people. I can’t wait to see what she will do with her talents in the future. Natalie is not only a great visual artist, but a wonderful writer. She reads, writes, and draws, every single day. Lately, Natalie has been into understanding the “anatomy” of humor. She has been studying what makes people laugh. She continues to be my greatest inspiration. Stay tuned! I know that in a few years she will be doing some amazing things.

She has your talent! Very intuitive! I’ll be watching for more …
Dear Natalie, you know what I liked more about your designs? The blue trace over white. I made an analogy that I found very interesting, get this: made me think about what is being a child full of dreams and plans, wondering what can be the future. (it is the white, like dense clouds) But, like magic, your personality and your talent appear as a beautiful little plane shredding these clouds and blue sky showing behind them (it’s the blue pencil, your talent performing ). “Parabéns” for your beautiful designs, they are are so alive and full of good humor! And sorry my bad english!
What amazing talent Natalie has! Of course, she’s learning from the best. Thank you so much for showing us some of her work. These characters are so expressive!
These are really wonderful. Wow. I’d love to see them as stickers or temporary tattoos. 🙂

Wow, Natalie!! These drawings are oh so wonderful! You have the gift just like your Mama!! I can’t wait to see all that you will do as you grow up!! Both you and your Mom continue to inspire all of us!! Muchas gracias!!
So beautiful! I like the chef and the gentleman with the fly the best.
I love them.
Natalie- These are AWESOME! I love the chef and the guy with the bow tie, especially. They are funny! What are their names? The guy with the bow tie looks like to me like he might appear to be pretty goofy, but is about to say something totally brilliant. From where I am sitting right now, I can see an adorable little wooden face that I bought from you at your lemonade stand a couple of years ago. It is always smiling at me when I sit at my computer, and I love it! Thank you so much for sharing your drawings with us here.
