Here is something interesting. In my adventures around Internetland, I discovered that there are some common themes that visual artists explore. Each artist does it in her/his own style. One of those themes is: faces/heads. Enjoy this compilation of little faces by 12 different artists that I put together some time ago. I love seeing the uniqueness of each creator. Don’t you feel inspired to paint or sculpt your own collection of faces? The image on the banner is by wonderful Cathy Cullis.

I SO love this, Elsa. My very favorite things to draw, from the time I was a tiny kid, are faces! This has inspired me to do a collection! Thanks!!!
Lovelove this post. I’m inspired and off now to practice my own face-style in a similar way. Thanks for posting! 🙂
Great post! Human faces are fascinating. They are my favorite thing to watch; trying to reproduce one of them, with all the shapes, tones and emotions that they involved, is always a exciting challenge to me.
I love all these faces. They make me happy. Yes, it definitely makes me want to make a collection of heads too.
