And the title of this one is: Trapped

Elsa, they are gorgeous. You know how to handle a pencil. Drawings with some much emotion behind it, they are made with passion and that shows.
The sketches I posted today well they just are lovely, colourful sweet doodles but love them anyway.
Have a sunny day!!!
Elizabeth

The new year seems to be treating you exceedingly well… great to see these two new pieces.
You always know how to deliver such poignant messages to us in a marvelous form. This drawings are both so detailed and wonderful. The natural world is such an endless source of inspiration and that is where I turn whenever I em in a creative rut. Thanks so much for sharing them with us.
Just came to your blog via Camilla’s link to the Frida Kahlo dolls house, though I think I had come across it before via someone else’s blog. It is simply amazing in its detail, colour and creativity. While here,I’ve had a little browse round your blog – while I should be working :o) – and it is all so inspirational. I also just wanted to say how heartfelt and moving I found those posts about your relationship with your sister.
Best get on now. Happy New Year!
These are wonderful. I really love your combinations of pencil and paper cutting. And your thoughts on creative crisis are just what I was needing to hear – thank you!
Beautiful! Just beautiful 🙂
Happy New Year Elsa! Would you mind if I tagged you? http://mi.typepad.com/mi/2009/01/6-facts.html
These drawings are so exquisite and beautiful!
“I think that (like most animals) people develop their own ways to protect themselves against aggressions from the outside world. This little girl has a mind full of mechanisms to protect herself and survive the rough part of life.”
Wouldn’t it be interesting if all our defensive mechanisms manifested themselves in this physical way? I’m inspired by this idea…!
Oh my, these are both wonderful and extremely creative. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful world of art.
