A Book About Meditation, Consciousness, and Creativity. By David Lynch.
One of the most inspiring books that I have read this year is Catching the Big Fish by David Lynch.
"Ideas are like fish.
If you want to catch little fish, you can stay in the shallow water. But if you want to catch the big fish, you've got to go deeper.
Down deep, the fish are more powerful and more pure... Everything, anything that is a thing, comes up from the deepest level. Modern physics calls that level the Unified Field. The more your consciousness -your awareness- is expanded, the deeper you go toward this source, and the bigger the fish you can catch."
-David Lynch.

thanks for the recommendation
and have a fantastic weekend
I will have to find a copy! I knew David Lynch was a big meditator, but I didn’t know he wrote a book about it.
I love that book, and I love your illustrations!
I will look into that book soon I hope!
You have time to read with all you do? What is your secret Elsita…you have a twin right?
I love book recommendations – thank you. Next time I need a pick me up I will find this.
I downloaded it for my ipod. Didn’t have any idea what it was about. As I listened, I stopped what I was doing, just to “hear” better. I was completely wowed. It is worth hearing again and again.
I’ve read it, brilliant book, definitely recommend it! I love David Lynch, :0)I’ve been practising Transcendental meditation for about 4 years now, I recommend that too! xx
I bought this for my husband on CD a few months ago, he is a big david lynch fan. We’re both very interested in TM but don’t really know how to get started, do you have any tips?
p.s.Do you enjoy Alejandro Jodorowsky?

I love these illustrations! Skimming over them before reading the post, I totally got it. “You’ve got to go deep for the big ideas.” I will keep that image in the front of my mind, when I get caught up in the little stuff. Thanks for the insight and inspiration!
