All of the above are excerpts from the book by Suze Orman: Women and Money. Owning the Power to Control Your Destiny.

I believe that every woman should read this book. It is easy to understand and packed with concrete, valuable advices from a smart lady who truly knows what she’s talking about. You won’t know how much you need it until you read it. My mother in law gave it to me a few yeas ago and I am eternally grateful that she did.

  1. I should have known it was Suzy ……she is one smart cookie who figured these things out the hard way and pulled her boots up and took care of business for herself. and look at her now. I’ll definitely look into the book. thanks elsa! I needed this reminder.

    • Isn’t she smart, Pamela? I have learned so much from her. She figured a bunch of things that women are normally too intimidated to even explore. Her book is a necessary one for us.
      Have a great day!

  2. This was written for me.
It’s early morning and I am sitting in bed with my iPad reading your post. At the back of my mind I am fretting about an invoice I sent out last night. Was I worth that money? Can’t I do extra for the mfor free so that they will value me.
    Thank you for your perspective.

  3. Thanks Elsita for this! I am a professional at giving for free and then Lo! my tank gets empty! We have undervalued our selves and our women’s work leaving the home physically and energetically devoid of nourishment. I am running to get a copy of Suze’s book now. BYE!
