    Have a fantastic day Elsita.

  3. This is amazing! Your talent is absolutely mind blowing!

  4. This has a “Year of the Rabbit” statement. Colors are striking. I’m a Japanese Irish American married to a Hungarian and the colors red, white, and green are the colors of the Hungarian flag. Another meaningful symbol. Keep up the excellent creations and thank you for sharing.

Maybe my favorite kind of art is the sort that inspires me to participate, to give it a try.
After seeing the paintings of Van Gogh I wanted to paint, to really lay on thick layers of color!
Your art makes me want to release all of the fanciful notions that run through my head… snip, snip, snip
them out of paper and unleash their magic! Thank you for being such an inspiration. You have remarkable skills
    and you make beautiful art.

  6. You never cease to amaze me – this is stunning!

  7. So, so beautiful. I would love to see a little video of you in action cutting paper to get a better idea of the process. Do you design it out and then cut or does the design emerge as you are cutting?? I am in awe of your artistry.

  8. Elsa, your work is stunning! I’m just getting started with paper cutting, and I’m having trouble finding the right paper. Would you mind sharing what brand you use?

  9. I love it! It’s wonderful, I’m so glad you’re so prolific!!! <3 Thank you!
@Gabrielle: on the left column of this blog there are links to different kinds of paper under supplies, I remember having read on this blog which kind of paper Elsita uses :) perhaps looking through the archive, I can’t find the post again, I tried :(

  15. Hi Elsita
I am writing a feature in Design Week about paper-cutting and would love to speak to you about it in the next couple of days. The trouble is that I am in London! Perhaps you could send me your email address and we can communicate electronically?
Also, could you send me some pics of your very latest work, including Fern Eyes?
    Many thanks
