“To put one’s thoughts into action is the most difficult thing in the world.” — Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
“Our thoughts and imagination are the only real limits to our possibilities.” — Orison Swett Marden
“The mind is everything. What you think you become.” — Buddha
Here is a painting that I finished for a show in Puerto Rico. It has something to do with being your own leader and follower at the same time. Choosing our path based on someone else’s ideas won’t take us very far in the long run. We need to be the Commander in Chief of our own boat. Have you ever been driving a car with an unsolicited copilot telling you what to do? Doesn’t that make you confused? The same thing happens in life. I believe that If we want to get somewhere we need to carefully “listen” to our own instincts and let them show us the way.
